Meeting Report
A Dialogue in Nepal

Water and Energy Commission Secretariat of Nepal (WECS), Ministry of the Environment, Japan and Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) held a dialogue on water environment on 14 December 2010 in Kathmandu, Nepal. Officers from WECS and other related agencies in Nepal participated in the dialogue. The meeting aimed to exchange views between Nepal and Japan on the water environmental management and identify areas need policy intervention. The meeting also aimed to contribute to the enhancement of the WEPA database by putting the exchanged information on the database.
