Law enforcement Capacity Building: Malaysia

National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN)

Institut Tadbiran Awam Negara (INTAN) is a main public services training institute in Malaysia. Its main campus is located at Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. There are branch campuses in Kluang for southern Peninsular Malaysia and Chukai for states on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. INTAN conducted many courses in Environment Management



Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment

Departments under NRE manage and operate several training centers for capacity building.

DOE has one training centre known as EiMAS and conducted all courses related to the departments objective including water quality systems and application of EQA.

DID has three training centers which conducted courses in river management, environmental management systems ISO 14000 and various courses and training such as in IRBM and IWRM.

The Department of Forestry and the Department of Minerals and Geosciences also have their respective training centers for capacity development.
