Summary

Guunung Sewu is an arid area that consists of karst with hilly topography. Therefore, the main problem is the limited reservoir of water. He was trying to find water resources by investigating caves. He found 380 caves and 30 of them have water resources. He managed to find water springs in the caves and an underground river. The water is distributed to the inhabitants using hydraulic technology. Sudijono always encourages the people to maintain the sustainability of the caves through replanting.
