2.3. The river system flowing into the Gulf of Thailand

2.3.1. Introduction

This river system from the Cardamom and Elephant mountain chains, pouring into the Gulf of Thailand, is not as important as the three river systems, Mekong River systems, TonleSap Lake, and Tonle Sap Great Lake’s tributaries. However this system retains its potential for development of water resources in the future, due to much rain and steep slopes in this area.
